Trong phần thi Speaking các bạn có thể sẽ được hỏi về bất kỳ một chủ đề nào. Nó có thể là chủ đề mà có vẻ đòi hỏi kiến thức như điểm tốt xấu của kỹ thuật di truyền, năng lượng nguyên tử, hay áp dụng vấn đề môi trường toàn cầu….hay là sự ảnh hưởng của văn hóa đến vấn đề chăm sóc người cao tuổi…
Cho dù là bạn thi Academic hay Genral thì các chủ đề câu hỏi speaking vẫn rất rộng như vậy. Do đó, khi ôn luyện bạn nên học thật nhiều các chủ đề, mở rộng kho từ vựng, kiến thức của bạn, và bạn sẽ không bị bỡ ngỡ đối với bất kỳ một câu hỏi nào khi thi.
Trong thi speaking, mỗi thí sinh sẽ được hỏi 3 phần
– Cue card: thí sinh sẽ được cung cấp một chủ đề để nói
– Discussion: hỏi đáp mở rộng giữa examiner và thí sinh về chủ đề trên
